Three regions, two routes in each
Four of our five guides live in these valleys, and each region has two routes, one shorter and one longer. Huts differ by region: staffed rifugi in the Dolomites, alpine club huts in Tyrol, koče and pasture huts in the Julian Alps. All three share one season, from late June to mid September.

You walk green pasture under pale limestone walls and sleep in staffed huts and on one dairy farm.

Three airports, then train and bus
You fly into the airport for your region and finish the journey by train and bus to the start village. The timetable for that last leg comes with your route notes. Travel to the start is yours to arrange and is not part of the price.
Your guide meets the group in the start village at 9am on day 1. On the last afternoon, around 3pm, a transfer takes you from the finish back to the start village. You travel home from where you arrived.
